Pizza Hut, Home Depot Deny Ripping Off Black Keys
Back in June, the Black Keys and producer Danger Mouse sued both Pizza Hut and Home Depot for using El Camino tracks without permission. Entertainment Weekly reports that both companies have denied the band’s claims.
Dan Auerbach, Patrick Carney, and Danger Mouse sued the company after Pizza Hut ran an ad with “Gold on the Ceiling” and Home Depot used “Lonely Boy”. In addition to denying the allegations, each corporation has asked the judge to have the band pay their attorneys’ fees if they win the case.
